Base Salary

$85k - $127k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Translate requirements into actionable technical plans and break down complex engineering problems.
  • Deliver secure, resilient, maintainable, and production-grade applications and services.
  • Implement rigorous testing, performance standards, monitoring, logging, alerting, and production support practices.
  • Optimize CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, release planning, and production validation.
  • Partner with Product, Architecture, Platform/DevOps, Security, and Agile Development Leads.
  • Support cloud migrations, legacy-system modernization, incident triage, root-cause analysis, and technical-debt reduction.

Requirements

  • Typically 1–3 years of software engineering experience delivering production-grade applications and services.
  • College degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services, including ECS/EKS, Lambda, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch, plus CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, branching strategies, release practices, observability, and production support.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience modernizing legacy systems and/or supporting cloud migrations.
  • Familiarity with data protection, access controls, auditability, and security and compliance expectations in regulated environments.
  • Experience with multiple programming languages and frameworks, plus the ability to select appropriate tools.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
