Base Salary
$85k - $127k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate requirements into actionable technical plans and break down complex problems for iterative delivery.
- Drive engineering excellence through secure coding, rigorous testing, performance standards, code reviews, and technical-debt management.
- Build and support secure, resilient, observable, and maintainable cloud-based applications and services.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and production support practices including incident triage and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Platform/DevOps, Security, and Agile Development Leads on delivery and technical direction.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation and support release planning, validation, and production readiness.
Requirements
- Typically 1–3 years of software engineering experience delivering production-grade applications and services.
- College degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Cloud experience, particularly with AWS and services such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with automated testing, branching strategies, release practices, observability, and production support.
- Experience modernizing legacy systems and/or supporting cloud migrations.
- Familiarity with security and compliance expectations in regulated environments, including data protection, access controls, and auditability.
- Experience with multiple programming languages and frameworks and the ability to select appropriate tools.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
