Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for Linux-based systems.
- Develop software using C, C++, and Python.
- Work on Embedded Linux, RTOS, and driver development.
- Collaborate with hardware teams on software integration and system bring-up.
- Debug, optimize, and enhance software performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and software design discussions.
Requirements
- Strong experience in embedded software development.
- Proficiency in C and C++.
- Good understanding of embedded systems architecture.
- Intermediate proficiency in Python.
- Extensive knowledge of L2 protocols including VLAN, 802.1x, and LAG, plus Ethernet switching in the data path.
- Networking protocol experience is preferred.
- MACsec experience is an asset.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Experience developing embedded software for networking products is highly desirable.
