Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead critical software initiatives, including project priorities, deadlines, and core deliverables.
- Design and develop software spanning computer architecture, BIOS, firmware, kernels, and full-stack infrastructure systems.
- Lead system board bring-up, troubleshooting, triage, and data-center deployment.
- Develop automated tools for diagnostics, reliability, and performance evaluation.
- Coach, mentor, and influence a distributed engineering team.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders on goals, outcomes, roadmaps, engineering programs, and productivity improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of experience in software development.
- Five years of experience testing and launching software products.
- Five years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
- Three years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience with C++, Linux, shell scripting, Python, operating systems, bootloaders, firmware, leadership, and reliability.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: Eight years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: Three years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: Three years of experience in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
- Preferred experience with computer architecture, continuous build, continuous deployment, continuous integration, or GPU drivers.
