Responsibilities
- Design and implement the infrastructure toolset for SAP Sovereign Cloud operations.
- Lead proof-of-concept development and integrate tooling into productive environments.
- Automate cloud delivery workflows and provisioning at scale using Infrastructure as Code.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide sustainable resolutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development.
- Collaborate with security and architecture teams to shape technical standards.
- Take independent ownership of engineering challenges and help shape the programme’s technical direction.
Requirements
- Deep proficiency with Terraform and Ansible.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, GCP, Azure, and OpenStack.
- Expertise with Kubernetes, including converting virtual-machine workloads into containers.
- Experience with scripting languages and cloud automation pipelines.
- Mastery of ML lifecycle automation, infrastructure design, and performance optimization, plus the ability to evangelize MLOps principles and coach peers.
- A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Willingness to undergo a governmental security clearance process due to the potentially classified nature of the work.
- Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, build trust, keep customers at the center, and solve problems effectively.
