Responsibilities

  • Analyze and troubleshoot application performance issues and design solutions to resolve them.
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable features for new and existing products.
  • Test applications and verify logic, syntax, and outputs.
  • Document code, architectural changes, and procedural, modular, and database-level modifications.
  • Own product modules and drive them from requirements scoping through production launch.
  • Own key architectural services and coordinate upgrades and enhancements with engineering peers.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Mentor junior team members and help them complete assigned work.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to refine work in Jira.
  • Participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other development activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience developing cloud-native applications with Azure.
  • Expertise creating APIs with .NET Framework or .NET Core and REST principles.
  • Hands-on experience with relational SQL databases.
  • Experience with Vue, React, or Angular is preferred.
  • Experience with non-relational databases such as Raven or Cosmos is preferred.
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development and SOLID principles.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes and their integration into development workflows.
  • Ability to define engineering best practices and mentor team members.
  • Practical knowledge of modern web application architecture, JavaScript-driven application flows, and API-driven backends.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to build effective cross-team relationships.
