Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, assess technical feasibility, and create application technical architectures.
- Create integration architecture for Liferay portals and external systems.
- Design technical solutions and conduct feasibility studies for client requirements.
- Develop, enhance, and deliver high-quality unit-tested software code.
- Create high-level and low-level design documentation.
- Prepare technical and end-user documentation.
- Collaborate with teams to refine solutions and respond to evolving business requirements.
Requirements
- At least five years of overall experience is required.
- At least 10 years of software development experience with Java/J2EE.
- At least three years of portal development experience.
- At least three years of Liferay DXP architecture experience.
- Proficiency in Liferay DXP and Liferay 7.X development, including OSGi, portlets, themes, hooks, modules, services, and extensions.
- Experience with testing automation and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of integrating external systems such as LDAP, Active Directory, OpenID, and CMS management systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of SQL.
- Knowledge of development practices, principles, patterns, test-driven development, and continuous integration.
- Experience providing technical solutions for client requirements.
- Preferred experience with Spring MVC, J2EE Servlet, JSP, tag libraries, HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, OSGi, and REST web services.
- A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
