Base Salary
$205k - $256k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own device attestation, session enforcement, and authentication hardening across native mobile clients and backend services.
- Design and operate detection and enforcement systems defending against fraud rings, bot farms, credential stuffing, account takeover, and other adaptive abuse.
- Define the multi-quarter security roadmap for account integrity and abuse defense.
- Set technical direction, write production code, review designs, mentor engineers, and grow a team spanning mobile and backend.
- Own an end-to-end security domain, including its roadmap, team, and outcomes.
- Balance user trust, growth, risk, platform reliability, and cost discipline in security systems.
Requirements
- 8 to 10+ years of security engineering experience, including deep experience defending consumer-scale mobile products against account takeover, bot abuse, and fraud.
- Proven ownership of an end-to-end security domain beyond tooling, including roadmap, team, and measurable outcomes.
- Experience building server-authoritative detection pipelines, attestation systems, or similar adversarial-facing infrastructure at scale.
- Hands-on knowledge of native iOS and Android client internals and the distributed backend services they communicate with.
- Comfort operating in Go or a similar language on a major cloud provider; AWS is preferred.
- Experience leading engineers formally or as a technical lead across disciplines.
- Experience with very large-scale mobile products, including hundreds of millions of users or sessions, is a plus.
