Responsibilities
- Convert algorithm definitions and prototypes into robust software applications.
- Collaborate with radar, electro-optical, and research scientist experts to resolve issues and improve product image quality.
- Design, develop, maintain, and test scalable software applications using modern programming languages and technologies.
- Participate in planning, requirements development, software design, implementation, build, documentation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Learn synthetic aperture radar and electro-optical collection techniques.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and complete software development tasks independently within a team environment.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance.
- 3–5 years of software engineering experience.
- Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or a related field, or four years of professional software or signals-processing experience in lieu of a degree; military experience in electronic warfare or signals processing may also qualify.
- Familiarity with a programming language, preferably Python, C++, Rust, or a similar language.
- Familiarity developing in Linux and/or a cloud environment, with AWS preferred.
- Ability to work onsite and demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.
- Preferred qualifications include programming in multiple languages, radar or electro-optical experience, academic digital signal-processing experience, Jira experience, Scrum/Agile development knowledge, and experience implementing algorithms in software.
