Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain multi-region, multi-provider service platforms.
- Build tools for automation, monitoring, and instrumentation to enhance engineering efficiency.
- Lead the discovery and implementation of next-generation solutions.
- Automate platform and application lifecycle services with minimal human interaction.
- Collaborate with product engineering to ensure code is production-ready.
- Promote the adoption of DevOps-first principles within the organization.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related roles.
- Strong experience in Python, Go, or Java.
- Experience managing extensive, multi-region service platforms.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure management, especially AWS.
- Experience with container schedulers and runtimes like Docker or Rkt.
- Experience building deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Security awareness with a focus on standard methodologies.
- Experience with Agile development of distributed services.
