Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Java 8/11 and Spring Boot.
- Build Angular frontend applications and support backend services with Node.js.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and microservices-based applications.
- Design, develop, and optimize databases using Oracle Database and SQL.
- Implement caching and distributed computing solutions with Hazelcast.
- Integrate messaging and event-driven systems using ActiveMQ.
- Deploy, monitor, and support applications in AWS EKS and other containerized cloud environments.
- Maintain and enhance Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, solution design, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Mentor junior developers and promote coding, security, and performance best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5–8 years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11 and Spring Boot.
- Experience developing REST APIs and microservices architectures.
- Proficiency in Angular frontend development and Node.js development.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Hazelcast caching technologies and ActiveMQ messaging middleware.
- Experience deploying applications on AWS, preferably AWS EKS.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD implementation.
- Insurance-domain experience and familiarity with regulatory, compliance, security, and risk management requirements are advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
