Responsibilities
- Design and deliver complex AI-enabled product features across frontend, backend, APIs, services, and data pipelines.
- Own the full lifecycle of digital banking products from initial concept and architectural design through release and maintenance.
- Improve system architecture and design components that integrate across APIs and microservices.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct critical code reviews, and establish strong engineering practices.
- Contribute to LLM-based voice assistants and real-time personalization engines using OpenAI and machine learning models.
- Implement entitlements and fraud prevention services with a focus on security, scalability, and resilience.
- Identify tooling gaps, reduce technical debt, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of professional experience building complex, high-traffic products.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, JPA/Hibernate, and Maven.
- Experience with microservices and cloud technologies; Netflix OSS experience is a plus.
- Strong Angular and TypeScript skills, with proficiency in RxJS and modern build systems.
- Experience with Webpack and Jenkins; Vue.js experience is a plus.
- Ability to design systems using Enterprise Integration Patterns and manage complex data flows between services.
- Excellent spoken and written English and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Previous fintech or banking experience is highly considered an advantage.
