Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications.
- Develop and maintain COBOL applications within an IBM z/OS environment.
- Analyze and resolve production issues, including batch processing failures.
- Support software releases, production deployments, and configuration management.
- Participate in requirements analysis, code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Collaborate with systems engineers, database administrators, testers, and customer stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience supporting mission-critical production environments and enterprise business applications.
- Experience with COBOL, IBM z/OS, and JCL.
- Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
- Preferred experience with Oracle Cognos, Endevor, payroll systems, financial management systems, or ERP systems.
