Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cryptographic systems using Rust, formal verification, PKI, and distributed systems.
- Own significant software features from design through deployment.
- Review code, debug complex issues across multiple components, and maintain high-quality software.
- Monitor operational metrics, address issues, and contribute to reliability and operational improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders on priorities and document software for maintainability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
