Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cryptographic systems using Rust, formal verification, PKI, and distributed systems.
- Own significant features from design through deployment.
- Work on authentication systems, cryptography, PKI, system hardening, and large-scale security architecture.
- Conduct code reviews, debug complex issues across multiple components, and maintain high-quality code.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to operational excellence.
- Collaborate with engineers across AWS service teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience involving design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
