Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cryptographic systems using Rust, formal verification, PKI, and distributed systems.
  • Own significant features from design through deployment.
  • Work on authentication systems, cryptography, PKI, system hardening, and large-scale security architecture.
  • Conduct code reviews, debug complex issues across multiple components, and maintain high-quality code.
  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with engineers across AWS on security outcomes.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • At least 1 year of Object Oriented Design experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
