Responsibilities
- Design and build reusable AEM Adaptive Forms with templates, fragments, components, themes, rules, validations, and localization patterns.
- Create and maintain Form Data Models, JSON schemas, data bindings, prefilling, draft-save, resume, submission, and error handling.
- Implement document-of-record, correspondence, document-generation, output-service, and downstream document-processing workflows.
- Integrate forms with enterprise applications, workflow platforms, content repositories, identity services, communication channels, third-party solutions, and external APIs.
- Develop Java and OSGi services and JavaScript extensions using secure, modular, and upgrade-safe practices.
- Implement form workflows, approvals, asynchronous interactions, notifications, status handling, and operational tracking.
- Ensure accessibility, responsive behavior, browser compatibility, usability, performance, security, privacy, analytics, maintainability, and operational readiness.
- Create automated tests, deployment packages, technical documentation, support runbooks, reusable standards, and troubleshooting guidance.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of application or digital-experience development experience with strong hands-on AEM Forms experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Deep knowledge of Adaptive Forms, Form Data Models, data binding, rules, validations, themes, fragments, document-of-record, and output or document services.
- Working proficiency in Java, OSGi, JavaScript, JSON schemas, Maven, Git, and deployment pipelines.
- Experience integrating forms with enterprise applications, workflow systems, content platforms, communication services, identity providers, and external APIs.
- Knowledge of form security, data protection, accessibility and WCAG, performance optimization, localization, analytics, and production support.
- Ability to translate journey, data, and workflow requirements into reusable form architecture and collaborate across functional and technical teams.
- Adobe AEM Forms certification or equivalent advanced training is preferred.
- Experience with high-volume enterprise forms, cloud deployments, reusable component libraries, and automated form testing is preferred.
