Responsibilities

Build AI-powered tools from scaffold to production, including frontend, backend, database, and deployment.
Design integration layers across third-party APIs, including authentication, rate limits, normalization, and graceful degradation.
Build multi-step LLM agent orchestration with streaming, structured extraction, and prompt versioning.
Scout and ship emerging technologies proactively.
Own database architecture, including schemas, access control, stored procedures, and real-time subscriptions.
Build products for web, mobile, embedded widgets, Slack and HubSpot apps, and AI assistant marketplaces.
Occasionally work as a forward-deployed engineer with agency and advertiser clients to turn pain points into working software.

At least 5 years of full-stack experience.
Experience architecting and shipping complete products with end-to-end ownership.
Deep experience integrating messy, real-world third-party APIs at scale and building abstractions around them.
Hands-on experience with LLM or AI systems, ideally including multi-step pipelines, prompt architecture, and structured output; strong full-stack engineers with less experience may develop this skill on the job.
Strong database design skills covering schemas, access control, stored procedures, and real-time subscriptions.
Fluency with React and TypeScript on the frontend and serverless or Node.js on the backend.
A demonstrated habit of identifying and introducing emerging technologies to a team.
