Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements and scenarios.
- Identify dependencies and develop design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms.
- Create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance, maintainability, effectiveness, and ROI.
- Partner with stakeholders to drive workgroup project plans, release plans, and work items.
- Act as a Designated Responsible Individual, guide other engineers, monitor services, and respond to degradation, downtime, and interruptions.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring, and operations at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and/or graduate degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of professional development experience.
- Experience or knowledge involving C++, C#, big data, machine learning, natural language processing, and search technologies.
- Familiarity with Azure, Entra, and Microsoft 365/O365 cloud services.
- Security awareness including penetration testing and threat analysis.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Strong analytical, customer engagement, cross-functional collaboration, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Preferred qualifications include software development engineer experience, cloud and AI knowledge, experience with geographically dispersed engineering teams, and the ability to work independently.
