Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and debug the StockX iOS application using Swift and UIKit.
- Build and consume GraphQL and REST APIs connected to backend services.
- Apply MVVM architecture, design patterns, and iOS best practices.
- Own initiatives end to end, including A/B testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
- Partner with product owners, program managers, and engineering managers to create resilient, scalable technical solutions.
- Break down system designs and guide junior engineers through component design and implementation.
- Champion engineering best practices and development standards.
- Evaluate security, scalability, reliability, and performance tradeoffs.
- Respond to live-site issues and communicate with stakeholders during incidents.
- Contribute to team processes and sprint outcomes.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant development experience.
- Strong understanding of the iOS platform and its common conventions.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to document features, changes, and bug fixes clearly.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience on cross-functional product teams is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
