Responsibilities

  • Design, test, deploy, and maintain automated CloudSec solutions through production.
  • Identify repetitive manual work and create automation to improve CloudSec services and tooling.
  • Maintain the CloudSec feature-request backlog and contribute to the service roadmap.
  • Help teams design, test, and implement security controls across the organization.
  • Support the development community with strong development controls and practices.
  • Document work, test infrastructure changes, and plan for safe deployment and rollback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related IT field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 1–3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python.
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform.
  • Exposure to at least one major cloud service provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Exposure to delivery pipelines such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Working experience with version control and collaborative development practices, including branching, pull requests, and code review.
  • Comfort with scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or .NET.
  • Exposure to configuration management such as Ansible.
  • Experience integrating tools through APIs and handling authentication with tokens or service accounts.
  • Awareness of blue-green deployments, canary deployments, and rollback planning.
  • Experience creating and curating container images.
  • Understanding of access management, encryption, vulnerability-management gates, and secure development practices.
  • Experience across multiple cloud platforms is preferred but not required.
