Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain security controls across cloud, network, infrastructure, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
- Analyze security alerts, investigate suspicious activity, and support incident response using security monitoring and telemetry tools.
- Validate vulnerability findings, coordinate remediation efforts, and track issues through resolution.
- Review network access requests, connectivity requirements, traffic, protocols, and communication flows to support least-privilege access and secure network design.
- Support compliance, audit, and risk assessment activities by preparing evidence and reviewing control effectiveness.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, cloud, application, and technology teams to embed security requirements into deployments and infrastructure changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting cybersecurity, network security, IT infrastructure, or cloud technology environments.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, DNS, HTTP, and enterprise network communications.
- Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, intrusion prevention systems, VPNs, or network segmentation controls.
- Experience reviewing, governing, or supporting enterprise network access management.
- Knowledge of identity and access management, least privilege, vulnerability management, configuration hardening, and incident response.
- Experience supporting cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments and applying security controls.
- Basic scripting or programming experience for automation, integration, or operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems in an enterprise environment.
- Preferred: exposure to Zero Trust architectures, modern cloud networking, cloud security platforms, policy-as-code, or security automation technologies.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
