Responsibilities
- Develop new hardware and software security features and update existing product features.
- Perform vulnerability and risk assessments, threat analysis, and security code reviews.
- Identify remediation for security risks and vulnerabilities and respond to product security incidents.
- Assist customers with product security-related issues.
- Develop and deploy training and tools that support secure product development.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and influence decisions beyond the immediate work group.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field plus 2+ years of Security Engineering or related experience; alternatively, a master's degree plus 1+ year or a PhD.
- 3+ years of Security Engineering or related work experience is listed as a preferred qualification.
- 2+ years of programming experience with languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, or System Verilog.
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication, planning, problem-solving, prioritization, and security assessment capabilities.
