Base Salary
$155k - $269k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build rendering and content-creation solutions for autonomous-driving simulation.
- Design and implement rendering technology for simulated cameras, LiDARs, and RADARs.
- Combine real-time rendering with neural rendering, 3D Gaussian Splatting, and generative models.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary research and engineering teams, including autonomy and safety teams.
- Improve the realism and diversity of Waabi World.
- Conduct rigorous experimental validation and potentially publish research at major conferences.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience shipping real-time rendering projects.
- Extensive experience with at least one GPU API, such as Vulkan, DirectX, or OpenGL.
- Deep understanding of GPU performance and experience using tools such as NSight, Tracy, or RenderDoc.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to write efficient, maintainable code in C++ or Rust.
- Proficiency in at least one shading language, such as GLSL, HLSL, or WGSL.
- Experience creating or working within interactive 3D environments, including games or robotics simulators.
- Preferred experience with robotics and autonomous systems; CUDA, OpenCL, and Vulkan compute pipelines; accelerated ray tracing; Python and deep learning frameworks; neural rendering; or cloud GPU computing.
