Base Salary

$150k - $220k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-performance C++ systems for a proprietary game engine, focusing on real-time rendering, performance, and scalability.
  • Design, implement, and maintain rendering features, core engine components, tools, and graphics pipelines.
  • Profile and optimize GPU and CPU performance across a wide range of devices, especially mobile devices.
  • Write clean, maintainable code with clear documentation and code-level comments.
  • Collaborate with engine, gameplay, art, and design teams to deliver high-quality game experiences across supported devices and platforms.
  • Mentor teammates, share best practices, and stay current with graphics and platform trends.

Requirements

  • Expert-level C++ development skills with deep knowledge of performance tuning, multithreading, and low-level engine systems.
  • At least six years of game industry experience.
  • Experience shipping large-scale 3D games across multiple platforms.
  • Experience with game engines and art/content pipelines.
  • Deep understanding of modern rendering pipelines and graphics APIs, including Vulkan and Metal.
  • Proficiency with GPU profiling and debugging tools.
  • Familiarity with Android graphics and Vulkan is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SIMD instruction sets is a plus.
  • Something to share from Shadertoy is a plus.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
