Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SAS Platform and SAS 9 product code.
- Design and implement scalable, performant, usable configuration and download tools.
- Build web applications for designing streaming data orchestration flows for SAS ARD solutions.
- Contribute to the design and development of new tools, systems, frameworks, and product features.
- Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and provide support for a smooth user experience.
- Perform unit, regression, and integration testing and document product features.
- Define user stories and acceptance criteria and review business and solution requirements.
- Collaborate on technical choices and follow applicable secure software development policies.
- Mentor associate developers supporting SAS 9 platform solution development.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of software development experience, including at least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID principles.
- Excellent programming skills with Core Java, AWT, and Swing.
- Understanding of XML, JSON, and REST.
- Knowledge of software development processes and quality standards.
- Experience with Agile software development practices and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Working knowledge of Git and Gerrit.
- Ability to work with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Strong debugging, logical problem-solving, and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Experience with unit and integration testing and disciplined unit, regression, and integration testing.
- Familiarity with web application servers or HTML front-end development.
- Familiarity with Bootstrap, CSS, and React.
- Experience with multi-tier full-stack web applications and thick-client application development is an added advantage.
