Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure for sensitive scientific data, financial modeling, and AI workloads.
- Build platform infrastructure for processing unstructured data from meeting transcripts, documents, and operational data at scale.
- Create developer tooling, development environments, monitoring systems, and CI/CD pipelines that support rapid and reliable delivery.
- Implement infrastructure and operational practices supporting SOC 2 compliance and the security requirements of biotech and pharmaceutical customers.
- Balance startup delivery speed with the reliability, performance, and security needs of mission-critical software.
Requirements
- 5+ years of platform, infrastructure engineering, or SRE experience.
- Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure using AWS, GCP, or Azure and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability, alerting systems, and incident response.
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a small, fast-moving engineering team.
- Preferred: experience implementing SOC 2 security controls, monitoring, and audit preparation.
- Preferred: performance optimization experience for data-intensive applications.
- Preferred: proficiency with AI-assisted development tools for infrastructure work.
