Responsibilities
- Lead technical engagements from POC workshops to production deployment.
- Write and ship production code in customer codebases using Python, TypeScript, and Node.
- Architect solutions that meet customer security and compliance requirements.
- Run customer hackathons and builder activation events to promote new solutions.
- Build and maintain reusable technical assets for customer adoption.
- Partner with Enterprise Architects to create deployable code from reference architectures.
- Evangelize Twilio within B2B builder communities by developing POCs and demos.
- Ensure customer teams understand the full capabilities of Twilio's solutions.
- Synthesize field insights to inform R&D of product improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with a strong track record of shipping production code.
- Solid grounding in software engineering fundamentals including API design and system architecture.
- Demonstrated experience running end-to-end technical engagements.
- Strong communication skills and executive presence.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of Twilio’s products and SaaS market dynamics.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in forward deployed engineering or technical presales is preferred.
