Responsibilities
- Design and develop software architectures for factory scheduling and simulation, including data pipelines, web applications, and simulation models.
- Develop and implement software using Python, C++, Java, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Ensure software solutions are scalable, efficient, reliable, secure, high quality, and compliant.
- Integrate solutions with data pipelines, architectures, existing systems, and infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain software documentation and metadata.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to junior engineers.
- Coordinate implementations across business stakeholders, data analysts, and IT teams.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and develop contingency plans.
- Maintain relationships with business leaders, data analysts, and IT professionals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of software development experience focused on software architecture and design.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, Java, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with data engineering, including data pipelines, architectures, and related tools.
- Experience with full-stack development across front-end and back-end systems.
- Hands-on experience with shop-floor operations in wafer and backend manufacturing and a deep understanding of related production processes and challenges.
- Preferred qualifications include stakeholder relationship-building, cross-functional coordination, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills, initiative, teamwork, adaptability, and time management.
