Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Management to translate the product roadmap into engineering plans.
- Convert engineering plans into agile sprint plans with accurate effort estimates and timely delivery.
- Take complete ownership of engineering initiatives while remaining highly hands-on.
- Create engineering practices and policies that improve productivity, efficiency, and predictability.
- Recruit and build high-performance engineering teams.
- Create and review base-level architecture and maintain product roadmaps.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience with scalable architecture, distributed systems, and cloud technologies.
- Strong knowledge of SOA principles, cloud-based web services architecture, design patterns, and frameworks.
- Development experience with Node.js, PHP, or the MEAN stack.
- Technical expertise with relational and non-relational databases.
- Exposure to API concepts is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, independent, ownership-oriented environment and adapt to different technology stacks.
