
Software Developer – High-Performance I/O & Storage Systems

Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance services for data access and storage.
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs, including gRPC-based services, for distributed data access.
- Optimize read and write paths to improve throughput and reduce latency.
- Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks across I/O, storage, and system interactions.
- Contribute to containerized deployments, distributed architectures, system design, and architecture discussions.
- Provide technical or project leadership as needed.
Requirements
- Strong software development experience in C, C++, Go, or Python.
- Proven experience building backend services, distributed systems, or performance-critical components.
- Understanding of software interactions with storage systems, operating systems, and hardware.
- Experience with I/O-intensive systems, storage APIs, or data services.
- Experience analyzing and optimizing throughput and latency.
- Experience designing and working with APIs such as gRPC.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with object storage such as S3, Linux systems programming or low-level performance tuning, high-performance or data-intensive environments, and technical or project leadership.
