Responsibilities
- Define enterprise, application, infrastructure, data, business, and security architecture frameworks, policies, standards, and target architectures.
- Create multi-cloud adoption, cloud suitability, migration, infrastructure policy, and cloud design frameworks.
- Conduct architecture assessments and recommend end-to-end solutions that address functional and non-functional requirements.
- Develop long-term technology strategies, reusable platforms and product components, integration patterns, and future-state architectures.
- Provide technical scope, solution designs, estimates, specifications, and implementation guidance for technology initiatives and proposals.
- Lead high- and low-level architecture and solution specification activities for systems and applications across Asia, Africa, and India.
- Collaborate with business design, functional, engineering, security, operations, and local business teams on integration plans and architecture adoption.
- Govern architectural extensions and additions while maintaining security, availability, performance, resilience, and reliability standards.
- Monitor emerging technology markets, vendors, methods, and technology directions.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of overall experience, with proven Enterprise Solution Architecture experience within the last three years.
- Insurance industry experience is preferred; banking industry experience is also relevant.
- Ability to understand business strategy and processes and translate them into successful technology solutions.
- Experience with DevSecOps, cloud engineering, SRE, software development, and system administration; Azure and GCP experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of technical architecture and modern design patterns, including web and mobile applications, API architecture, N-tier, event-driven, microservices, serverless functions, and no-code/low-code concepts.
- End-to-end architecture experience with Enterprise Java, React Native, Flutter, Android, iOS, iPaaS middleware, SQL and NoSQL databases, MongoDB Atlas, PostgreSQL, data lakes, Databricks, data warehouses, iSeries, and DB2.
- Experience with streaming technologies or frameworks such as Kafka and Confluent Cloud.
- Deep understanding of enterprise integration and messaging patterns, microservices, 12-factor practices, and architecture governance.
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Understanding of AI/ML technologies, LLMs, Azure and GCP AI tools, and data product concepts.
- Good understanding of DevOps.
