Responsibilities
- Own features and products end to end, from initial prototype through launch, iteration, and ongoing operation.
- Build and ship production frontend and backend systems with high uptime and minimal maintenance burden.
- Collaborate with product, design, operations, finance, external partners, and customers to gather requirements and develop integrations.
- Design APIs, versioning, documentation, authentication patterns, and database schemas.
- Scope and deliver MVPs, learn from user feedback, and iterate quickly.
- Prototype and launch customer-facing products and improve tools that help people work with money.
Requirements
- 5+ years of fullstack development experience, including 3+ years with TypeScript/Node.js and a modern frontend framework, preferably React.
- Fluency with relational databases and SQL.
- Proven ability to ship reliable production systems across frontend and backend.
- Strong product instincts, design judgment, and ability to work from Figma designs.
- Experience collaborating directly with external partners and customers on requirements, integrations, and iterative development.
- Strong understanding of API design, versioning, documentation, and modern authentication patterns.
- Commitment to clean code and automated testing, plus excellent cross-functional communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include startup experience, customer-facing product launches, performance profiling, latency reduction, service-level adherence, event-driven architectures, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, crypto development, onchain libraries and services, and blockchain node software such as Geth or Solana validators.
