Base Salary
$138k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software solutions.
- Develop and maintain applications using J2EE, Spring Boot, Kafka, React.js, JUnit, and Mockito.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts and ensure software implementation meets design constraints.
- Analyze and visualize large, diverse data sets to identify patterns and improve coding practices and system architecture.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Apply software development lifecycle practices and support application resiliency, security, testing, and operational stability.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, operational stability, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
- Demonstrable hands-on expertise in J2EE, Spring Boot, Kafka, and React.js.
- Hands-on experience with test-driven development using JUnit and Mockito.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating, validating, and refining their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and related engineering practices.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies are preferred.
