Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Translate operational requirements into system workflows, data models, forms, approvals, permissions, exception logic, and operating procedures.
- Design AI-enabled and agentic workflows for supplier commitments, purchase orders, material readiness, action items, risks, nonconformances, and follow-ups.
- Build automations and integrations using SQL, Python, APIs, low-code tools, RPA, webhooks, workflow engines, collaboration tools, ticketing systems, document repositories, and internal applications.
- Administer, configure, and improve MES, ERP/MRP, procurement, supplier, inventory/material, QMS, PLM, and related enterprise systems.
- Maintain master data for suppliers, parts, BOMs, routings, purchase orders, work orders, inspections, ownership, lead times, milestones, and operational metadata.
- Support tool and module implementations through requirements gathering, vendor coordination, configuration, testing, migration, user acceptance testing, training, and post-launch support.
- Create documentation, runbooks, automation specifications, change logs, training materials, access-control guidance, and audit evidence.
- Monitor workflow performance, adoption, data quality, integrations, bottlenecks, and exception-management routines.
- Develop and expand unit and integration testing for the enterprise software suite and internal tools.
- Partner with database architects and system administrators to create ETL pipelines for AI-enabled processing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in supply chain systems, manufacturing systems, procurement operations, business systems, operations technology, industrial engineering, or a similar enterprise-workflow role.
- Hands-on administration or implementation experience with an enterprise operations system such as MES, ERP/MRP, procurement, supplier management, inventory/materials, QMS, PLM, or workflow automation platforms.
- Software development experience in a high-level language such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes including purchase orders, supplier commitments, expediting, material readiness, inventory, work orders, receiving, inspections, nonconformances, and production support.
- Working knowledge of SQL and data structures, plus experience with Python, APIs, low-code automation, RPA, scripting, or similar integration tools.
- Practical understanding of AI-enabled workflows, prompt design, structured outputs, human-in-the-loop review, permissions, data quality, and escalation logic.
- Experience with Git and continuous integration/continuous deployment software incorporating automated testing and release.
- Strong documentation and data-quality practices in a fast-moving, regulated, hardware-focused environment.
- Ability to work onsite in Torrance, California, support urgent operational milestones, work long hours and weekends when necessary, and travel occasionally.
