Base Salary
$200k - $375k/yr
Responsibilities
- Craft intuitive Android user experiences with attention to pixels, animations, interactions, performance, and reliability.
- Build fast, highly performant mobile systems and optimize the application experience.
- Drive technical and product decisions in collaboration with designers, backend engineers, iOS engineers, and web engineers.
- Own product quality by running A/B tests, finding issues, and proactively improving the app.
- Use user feedback and personal product experience to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Take ownership of projects from idea through production release.
Requirements
- Experience with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Flow.
- Deep expertise in the Android stack and tooling, including Android Studio and Gradle.
- Proven track record of delivering projects in production applications.
- Strong understanding of the Android platform, including its strengths, limitations, and trade-offs.
- Experience with large-scale production applications serving millions of daily active users.
- Strong product sense, ownership, autonomy, communication, and ability to make and explain technical trade-offs.
- Ability to use analytics and metrics to measure impact and guide product decisions.
- Experience beyond Android, such as iOS, web, or backend development, is preferred.
