Base Salary
$138k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, stable, and scalable native iOS software solutions.
- Create high-quality production code, maintain algorithms, and produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
- Implement unit, UI, and automated testing strategies using XCTest and XCUITest.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, while validating their outputs.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets, create visualizations and reports, and use insights to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Contribute reusable AI-assisted development patterns and guide peers on responsible, secure, and effective usage.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Practical and hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development tools, including evaluating and refining generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Demonstrated experience in native mobile application development and proficiency with Swift, including async/await and Combine.
- Strong experience with UIKit, SwiftUI, Foundation, Core Data, Combine, object-oriented programming, MVC, MVVM, Coordinator, and SOLID design patterns.
- Expertise writing XCTest unit tests and XCUITest UI tests, with commitment to test-driven development.
- Experience with CI/CD processes and tools such as Bitrise, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions, plus Git source control management.
- Experience with modularization, dependency injection, and reusable iOS SDK or framework development.
- Preferred experience with design systems, UI development, white-labeling, accessibility, WCAG, Apple accessibility requirements, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- An active GitHub or Stack Overflow profile or published app portfolio is preferred.
