Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain complex streaming-service modules independently.
- Drive initiative execution while meeting quality and operational standards.
- Deploy and operate multi-region services on AWS using ECS, S3, Amazon DynamoDB, and Lambda.
- Improve performance and resiliency through caching, retries, and scaling policies.
- Troubleshoot and root-cause production issues with limited supervision.
- Contribute to architecture, technical planning, team goals, automation, and process simplification.
Requirements
- Strong production experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Hands-on AWS IaaS experience, particularly with ECS, plus DevOps fundamentals such as continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
- Solid understanding of mathematics.
- Experience with high-traffic distributed systems and REST or WebSocket APIs.
- Familiarity with Agile.
- Preferred qualifications include observability, HTTP/2 and WebSockets, Terraform, 3D modeling, geometry, streaming pipelines, or Rust experience.
