Responsibilities
- Develop the control plane for a cloud DBaaS platform.
- Build highly scalable distributed systems.
- Create database engine controls for provisioning, scaling, and backups.
- Implement telemetry and logging for proactive alerts.
- Orchestrate complex workflows for various database engines.
- Automate operations related to database engine maintenance.
- Stay updated on trends in cloud-native infrastructure and DBaaS.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Experience with cloud-scale distributed systems, especially in data and OLTP databases.
- Proficiency in Golang and gRPC.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and deployment pipelines.
- Preferred experience with orchestration engines like Temporal.
- Preferred operational experience with MongoDB.
- Strong systems thinking and adaptability.
