Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on Tier 2 and Tier 3 incident response and production support in a rotating 24/7 shift and on-call environment.
- Investigate, debug, and resolve technical issues, production tickets, and application anomalies reported through Jira and ServiceNow.
- Monitor application services, integration flows, and Linux environments to identify performance bottlenecks and failures.
- Perform log analysis, root-cause investigations, post-incident reviews, and permanent remediation tracking.
- Execute environment configuration changes, system updates, application deployments, file backups, and routine health checks.
- Coordinate escalations with development teams and drive cross-team action items to completion.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 2 to 5 years of IT support experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with Linux scripting, troubleshooting, and resolving issues within SLA requirements.
- At least 2 years of experience with cloud-based solutions such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- At least 2 years of experience with software testing, performance, and quality engineering techniques and strategies.
- Preferred experience with Linux/Unix administration, log analysis, file permissions, processes, and diagnostic tools.
- Preferred proficiency with Bash or Python scripting, SQL queries, Java application tracing, distributed-system troubleshooting, RESTful APIs, and network connections.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, customer-service, and technical communication skills.
