Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new or revised application systems and programs.
- Analyze code and applications to identify enhancements, vulnerabilities, and security issues.
- Design programming solutions using application development procedures and programming languages.
- Test, debug, install, and support application systems.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups to recommend solutions and resolve issues.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts.
- Assess risk, maintain compliance, and escalate and report control issues appropriately.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
- Intermediate-level experience in an applications development role.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
