Responsibilities
- Design data models in SQL Server and Oracle and develop stored procedures for business requirements.
- Develop and maintain three-tier, microservices-based OLTP applications.
- Tune SQL Server performance and investigate production jobs scheduled through AutoSys.
- Improve data quality and support global business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with global development teams and counterparts on requirements, technical details, and system or component implementation.
- Troubleshoot difficult technical issues and deliver work according to requirements, standards, and deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or a related major.
- At least 5 years of experience in data, database, or data warehouse work.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedure scripting, and database performance tuning.
- Experience with Git and Linux command lines, plus familiarity with Python, Java, and NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch or MongoDB.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, ownership, and prioritization skills.
- Financial knowledge or background, data analytics experience, Gen-AI training experience, and GitHub Copilot agent mode experience are preferred or advantageous.
