Base Salary

$190k - $250k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Re-architect and maintain the Kubernetes fleet and its supporting infrastructure.
  • Improve and expand continuous delivery of the product.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning hardware and cloud to build platform capabilities.
  • Work with security teams to improve practices and controls protecting customer data and drones.
  • Drive product cost-saving initiatives to support future scale.
  • Debug and automate Kubernetes clusters and modify core product software to address underlying issues.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as an SRE, DevOps engineer, or in an equivalent infrastructure role.
  • Ability to debug and automate Kubernetes clusters.
  • Ability to work directly in code, preferably using Python or Go.
  • Prior experience implementing continuous deployment systems.
  • Understanding of cloud platform architecture, including networking, security, storage, and resilient application topologies.
  • Ability and interest in independently pursuing solutions to delegated business objectives.
  • U.S. person status and ability to access export-controlled technical data or restricted government information as required.
  • Familiarity with supporting both SaaS and self-hosted applications is preferred.
  • Experience supporting drones or highly automated physical hardware is preferred.
