Base Salary
$190k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Re-architect and maintain the Kubernetes fleet and its supporting infrastructure.
- Improve and expand continuous delivery of the product.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning hardware and cloud to build platform capabilities.
- Work with security teams to improve practices and controls protecting customer data and drones.
- Drive product cost-saving initiatives to support future scale.
- Debug and automate Kubernetes clusters and modify core product software to address underlying issues.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as an SRE, DevOps engineer, or in an equivalent infrastructure role.
- Ability to debug and automate Kubernetes clusters.
- Ability to work directly in code, preferably using Python or Go.
- Prior experience implementing continuous deployment systems.
- Understanding of cloud platform architecture, including networking, security, storage, and resilient application topologies.
- Ability and interest in independently pursuing solutions to delegated business objectives.
- U.S. person status and ability to access export-controlled technical data or restricted government information as required.
- Familiarity with supporting both SaaS and self-hosted applications is preferred.
- Experience supporting drones or highly automated physical hardware is preferred.
