Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain ING’s Data Analytics Platform on Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop infrastructure automation services using Golang.
- Create and maintain scalable, secure, and cloud-native platform solutions.
- Support platform users and ensure smooth tenant onboarding.
- Improve key platform components and architecture.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Ensure platform reliability, including participation in on-call rotations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience working with Google Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on experience building data platforms on GCP with services such as Cloud Run, Vertex AI, GKE, BigQuery, Dataproc, and GCS.
- Strong Golang experience, particularly building infrastructure or automation services.
- Required experience with Terraform and an Infrastructure as Code mindset.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation, including tools such as Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of cloud-native architecture and infrastructure automation practices.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including VPC, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
- Understanding of secure authentication and encryption concepts such as OIDC, KMS, and SSL/TLS.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Preferred experience with distributed systems, large-scale data processing on GCP, infrastructure and platform performance optimization, and open-source contributions.
