Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of Airwallex engineering systems.
- Partner with business and product teams to analyze requirements, define architecture, and develop core functions for complex systems.
- Design and develop components using the company’s microservice framework.
- Introduce innovative technologies and solutions for the engineering team.
- Support technical team construction and management and establish internal coding standards.
Requirements
- More than three years of Core Java development and Internet application, large financial system, or e-commerce platform development experience.
- More than one year of payment platform development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related major.
- Proficiency in Java 8, Java multithreading, high concurrency, IO/NIO, and network communication.
- Experience designing and developing large-scale distributed, high-concurrency, high-load, and high-availability systems.
- Knowledge of server technologies, service-response and data-query optimization, and high-concurrency and high-availability problem solving.
- Familiarity with design patterns, Spring, Spring Boot, HTTP, TCP/IP, REST specifications, Gradle or Maven, Docker clusters, JSON, and XML.
- Preferred experience includes international clearing and settlement, foreign exchange transactions, Cassandra, Redis, NoSQL, Hadoop, Kotlin, Scala, Python, Golang, R, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, JavaScript, Angular, React, CSS3, Aliyun Cloud, or AWS.
- Fluent English is preferred.
