Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to conduct discovery calls, deliver product demonstrations, and answer technical questions throughout the sales cycle.
- Deliver tailored Flow Simulation demonstrations for industries including chemical processing, specialty manufacturing, oil and gas, mining, and utilities.
- Build and maintain demonstration environments, use cases, and proof-of-concept scenarios.
- Support RFP and RFI responses and technical proposals.
- Train and enable regional and global technical partners through sessions, webinars, lunch and learns, joint demonstrations, and demo scripts.
- Represent Datacor at trade shows, industry conferences, webinars, marketing campaigns, and customer-facing product sessions.
- Identify case study opportunities and collaborate with Marketing on vertical messaging and campaign content.
- Provide Product with feedback on feature gaps, competitive observations, and customer requests.
- Develop product fluency in Flow Simulation and working familiarity with GoldSim and CHEMCAD to support cross-selling.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in solution engineering, sales engineering, or technical pre-sales at an engineering software, simulation, or process technology company.
- Ability to deliver software demonstrations to technical and business audiences, including engineers, plant managers, and project teams.
- Strong discovery skills and ability to map customer pain to value and handle technical objections.
- Degree in mechanical engineering with hands-on piping experience such as piping system design, hydraulic analysis, or plant and pipeline engineering.
- Familiarity with pipe flow simulation and fluid dynamics software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent engagements across countries, cultures, and time zones.
- Willingness to travel upward of 60% across European, Middle Eastern, African, and APAC markets.
- Based in Europe or the Middle East with the right to work in that location.
- Experience with Datacor Flow Simulation products, including Fathom, Arrow, Impulse, and xStream, is strongly preferred.
- Additional chemical or process engineering experience, relevant vertical experience, channel or reseller partner experience, and familiarity with GoldSim or CHEMCAD are preferred.
- German or French language skills are preferred, and Arabic is valuable for Middle East coverage.
- Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot and with webinar and demo platforms is preferred.
