Responsibilities
- Design, develop, improve, and deliver scalable, maintainable, secure, and high-quality software solutions.
- Lead the evolution of data technologies through applied AI and drive innovation, operational excellence, and responsible AI use.
- Define software requirements and solution strategies with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership in software architecture, mentoring, cross-team collaboration, project planning, and execution.
- Conduct code reviews, promote code quality and knowledge sharing, and implement effective unit testing practices.
- Advise senior stakeholders, guide technical direction, and lead collaborative multi-year assignments.
- Manage risks, strengthen controls, and ensure adherence to secure coding, governance, and organizational policies.
Requirements
- Experience with applied AI, including Claude CLI, OpenAI SDK, Google ADK, RAG, LangChain, Langfuse, Bedrock, guardrails, vector databases, and advanced prompting.
- Working knowledge of AWS services and technologies including Python, IAM, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, RDS, PostgreSQL, ECS, EKS, and CloudFormation.
- Technical leadership exposure in software architecture, line management, mentoring, cross-team collaboration, and project planning and execution.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder communication skills.
- Desirable experience with Hadoop, Impala, Hive, Snowflake, Databricks, Starburst, StarRocks, data governance, and associated controls.
- Ability to demonstrate risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job-specific technical skills.
