Responsibilities
- Design and maintain custom DMEE tree structures for banking payment formats such as SWIFT and SEPA.
- Collaborate with treasury, accounts payable, and banking partners to define file layouts and map SAP data to bank-required formats.
- Map FPAYH, FPAYHX, and FPAYP structures to payment-file nodes, including constants, aggregation, and conditional logic.
- Implement and assign ABAP user exits for payment logic that cannot be handled through standard configuration.
- Configure Payment Medium Workbench using OBPM1, OBPM2, OBPM3, and OBPM4.
- Perform unit testing, troubleshoot payment-file errors using DMEE trace tools, and assist with user acceptance testing.
- Support S/4HANA migration by upgrading traditional RFFO* programs to DMEEX and PMW structures.
Requirements
- Hands-on expertise with SAP DMEE and DMEEX transaction codes.
- In-depth knowledge of Payment Medium Workbench and OBPM1 through OBPM4.
- Knowledge of SAP payment structures and tables including FPAYH and FPAYP.
- Understanding of XML and flat-file formats and basic ABAP for debugging and exit-module implementation.
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP FICO, including Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Bank Accounting.
