Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and manage microservices-based applications.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for data storage and retrieval.
- Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
- Contribute to technical discussions and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java 8 or above.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Experience building REST APIs.
- Knowledge of Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Basic experience with MongoDB and Redis is a plus.
- Understanding of API security, including JWT and preferred OAuth experience.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Basic exposure to Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
- Knowledge of Kafka or RabbitMQ is preferred.
- Experience with JUnit or Mockito is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with consideration for coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience.
- 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
