Responsibilities
- Own defined customer and business problems end to end, from shaping the approach through designing, building, and shipping working software.
- Direct multiple AI agents in parallel, compose them into workflows, select appropriate models or tools, and review their output.
- Build rapidly by integrating proven internal and external platforms, components, services, and models while innovating where differentiation matters.
- Evaluate AI-generated work through testing, reviews, and evals to determine whether it is reliable enough to ship.
- Establish reusable AI-native engineering patterns, prompts, evals, guardrails, and internal tooling.
- Maintain high standards for product quality, security, reliability, and compliance in a regulated environment.
- Engage directly with customers and users and measure success through customer and business outcomes.
- Mentor engineers, share effective practices, and increase the productivity of teams across the organization.
Requirements
- Track record of driving complex products end to end and shipping reliable, production-grade software with visible impact.
- Strong full-stack engineering fundamentals and experience making sound architectural decisions.
- Integrator’s mindset with the ability to compose proven building blocks and create solutions that compound across teams.
- Fluency with modern AI tools and agents, including parallel agent execution, context management, intervention, workflow composition, and model or tool selection.
- Ability to evaluate AI output with engineering rigor and identify when it is reliable enough for production.
- Strong product intuition and comfort speaking directly with customers and users.
- Bias toward shipping, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to drive outcomes independently.
- Deep commitment to quality, security, and reliability.
- Clear communication skills, including explaining both what was built and why it matters.
- Experience defining AI-native engineering practices, evals, or internal tooling adopted by other teams.
- Experience designing or orchestrating successful multi-agent workflows.
- Relevant examples of products or side projects built and shipped.
- Experience mentoring engineers and multiplying the output of teams.
