Base Salary

$100k - $130k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build high-performing web experiences using React, Redux, and Hooks.
  • Develop software solutions for Alkira’s enterprise-focused cloud application.
  • Design, develop, and deliver scalable and reliable web applications and component libraries.
  • Build flexibility and customization into the product from the start.
  • Promote usability and accessibility across user experiences.
  • Add to and improve end-to-end, integration, and unit test coverage.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with geographically distributed teams.

Requirements

  • B.S., M.S., or equivalent in electrical engineering or computer science.
  • Excellent JavaScript programming and debugging skills.
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and operating systems.
  • 1–2+ years of professional React/Redux or modern framework experience.
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript, including asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6.
  • Experience with CSS and Less/Sass in large-scale applications.
  • Experience with at least one UI testing framework such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
  • Familiarity with relational databases such as Postgres, REST APIs, Git, web build tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Node.js API development experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively on teams of varying sizes and locations.
